Open Question: How to not look like a dork? and more... Open Question: How to not look like a dork?My social life has never really been good. I keep hearing (especially from all women I've ever met) that I look like a dork or a super nerd. Problem is that I'm not, not even in the slightest. I joined online dating then to meet women and I get the same thing the "You're a super nerd or a dork, and that's being super nice to you" I don't know what to do. My friends tell me it's the glasses, but I can't wear contacts because of astigmatism. So I'm at a loss, it seems like I have the choice between being blind as a bat or getting women. I'm not sure what to do. I'll attach my profile to give you an idea of what I look like but I'm really at a loss here. I'm pretty cool Open Question: Something disturbing I read in a book about how to become a counsellor?this is a section from a chapter about how a counsellor sums up a problem for the patient. patient - I went on a blind date and invited him back to my house then he raped me. counsellor - ok, to sum up...you went on a blind date, invited him back then he raped you....and you think it might be your fault. eh? she didnt say that she thought it might be her fault. maybe it had not even crossed her mind until the counsellor mentioned it......so now she might start considering it.......can someone explain to me how on earth it can be helpful to say such a thing??? remember...the patient never mentioned it.
