Open Question: What if suburban high schooler moved to inner city high school?I'm always curious how major TV networks, novels, movies, media always portray suburban high school kids as you know, cliched people. However, what if, those suburban cliched, kids portrayed CW, or degrassi high school moved to a inner city high school in Brookyln, South Central, philly, chicago, washington D.C Compton, Detroit for exchange student trip for 1-2 weeks. The layout would be massive gang battle in inner city high schools, apathetic teachers, horde of big fat black loud chicks, crap school faculty and infrastructure, drug smuggling, grafetti, beatdowns, drive bys, car jacking, rap music, lack of extracurricular activities and shit that even mexicans and blacks won't eat(horrible school lunches) etc. Also, life in the inner city would be very rough with assault, robberies, drive bys, gang wars, bad socioeconomic structure, drugs, neglect, poverty, derelict buildings, grafettis, oh boy it's going to be hell. However, mean while the inner city kids in suburban high school would feel alienated and treated like pariahs. What do you guys think? More Recent Articles |
