Open Question: Can my photography client file a lawsuit against me for not giving into her every whim?I'm a portrait photographer, and have a question on lawsuits. I have a client, who signed my agreement, for a $200 pkg, but only paid $164 - cuz she had a $50 gift certificate. The pkg consists of the following: 3 poses and with that she has (3) 8x10s; (6) 5x7s; (12) 4x6s, (2) sheets of wallets, not to mention I throw in a free copyright-free disc containing all pictures - - it's a good deal in my eyes - less than $200 for all her pictures basically! I took her pictures two months ago. She kept on changing the shoot date, due to her sons' soccer games, which I was more than happy to be flexible on, and work with her. She asked if she could bring her dog with her, and I said sure! I took her pics, and now two months later, I add them onto a slideshow, which takes up room on my website (not important). I would've had her pictures to her sooner, but I came down with that nasty H1N1 flu, and was out for almost two weeks - i wanted nothing to do, but sleep! my whole body ached. Anyways, about two weeks after that, my computer kept having problems, and finally crashed! I had to get it worked on, which took a week. Just this week, i'm located in the midwest, and we just got done having a state-wide blizzard 2 days ago, which knocked out my internet connection, until this evening. I've redone pictures like you cudn't imagine - i offered her up 40sum different poses to choose from, and she wasn't happy with the way i edited, so i re-edited them all for her, the way she asked. Mind you, I have another client, of whom I've told that I would have to put them on hold, due to an emergency matter - luckily they are fine with it, for now, but i don't know how much longer they'll wait! :( Finally tonite, she sends in her request for her order - which consists of 20 extra poses, in addition to the 3 allotted ones. I wrote back to her re-stating what her pkg consists of (# of poses), and that if she wants the additional ones, I'll have to charge her the surcharge of $40, plus the cost of each pic ala carte. She got pissed off, saying she demands that I give them all to her, or else! I've tried working with her, and telling her I'd let her do 8 poses - that's 5 extra ones! But she said her & her husband were VERY unhappy with all the pictures. So...i did what any normal photographer would do, when the client doesn't want a re-shoot = offer a full refund! I went one step further - - because I'm a nice person - I offered her the full refund, plus a basic pkg consisting of 3 poses - 1 8x10 & 2 5x7s = she'd end up with her 3 original poses in the end, SCOTT FREE!!! She's been doing nothing but threatening me all nite long via emails back and forth & I'm threw fighting over this...I'm just worried - can she file lawsuit on me, after I've already offered her a full refund? Thanks! D. we were perfect i cared about her and did so many things to make her happy and get her life back on track her problems were-----smoking weed, poppin pills and didnt give a f about life this pissed me off cuz she so beautiful and shes doing all that shyt so as days passed by and we were dating i slowly told her how much i loved and cared about her and want her to be happy in life she understand me and said nobody ever really cared about me as much as u do and begin to cry...then i really realized shes been thru hell in her past....we talked and got closer as the school year went by she didnt do any class work in school cuz she was so high on drugs so me...being a nice caaring person i did all her class work and hw and same time i kept telling her to lay off drugs and stop thinking negaative about life...basically i felt like a sycholegist to her...and it was working middle of year she slowly got off drugs and i seen a change in her she was more happy laughing more talking more Everything was good very good then she wanted me to move in with her that year... i told her the truth i couldnt cuz i have benifits at my home parents buying me car and planned me for going to college Open Question: What can I get for my boyfriend this christmas? Any original idea?This is becoming stressful problem. We've been dating for a while now and we're going to celebrate our 8months before New Year's Eve. He's an uncommon boyfriend, he just gave me a white gold necklace when we celebrated our 7months. He likes the color white. But I am totally blank what should I give him this Christmas.
