Open Question: Have you ever seen anyone famous at an NHL hockey game (other than hockey players)?

Matthew Stafford (the ONLY bright spot for the Lions this year) was at the Wings game last night wearing a Detroit Tigers hat BTW. have you ever seen a famous person at a game that isn't involved in hockey? BQ: Treadmill or brave the elements for your walk/run? I saw Anna Kournikova at a game once. Technically she was a tennis player at the time. Player wise Matthew Stafford is the only bright spot. The wins are a given. And he is EVER so cute. :o) Casey~My husband tried to teach our dog, Bud (after his fave beer), how to walk on the treadmill once. Bud got on, took a few steps, sat down and SHOT off the back and hit the cabinet next to the wall. He didn't come near the treadmill for about a month and now he tries to bite it when we use it.

Open Question: 1st week of fantasy football playoffs -- Which RB and DST should I start?

My choices for one RB slot are: 1. DeAngelo Williams on Carolina playing at home Sunday night against the Vikings who have a really tough run defense (DeAngleo WIlliams was my No. 1 draft choice so I'm hard pressed to bench him; or 2. Lawrence Maroney on Patriots playing in Buffalo -- seems a perfect match-up but with Sammy Morris rotating in and Kevin Faulk getting all the goal line and 3rd down touches will Maroney see the ball enough? Will the Randy Moss drama cause New England to run the ball more or throw more check downs to the rbs? As for my defense/special teams choices I can choose either the Vikings playing in Carolina or Arizona playing in Detroit (Detroit will be without star RB Kevin Smith). While Vikings have been good all year for me, I think I like the Arizona match-up this week. Please any help would be great. MY opponent this week in first round of playoffs has an awesome team so I've got to get my best guys playing. Thanks for your help

Open Question: Fantasy Football Help please?

My second best running back, Kevin Smith from Detroit Lions just went down for the season. I'm in the 2nd round of the playoffs this week, and we start two running backs. I have Ryan Grant solidified as one of my starters. He's not great, but he has been really consistent this year. I have Tim Hightower, Willis Mcgahee, and Kevin Faulk. In free agency, I have the option of picking up Carnell Williams from Tampa Bay, Justin Fargas from Oakland, Darren Mcfadden from Oakland, and Leonard Weaver from Philly. If Westbrook is out again this week I think Weaver might be the best pick. What do you guys think? Remember this is the playoffs, its win or go home.

Open Question: This Question Is For Those Who Experienced The Rock & Roll Scene In The Detroit/Windsor Area In The Late 60's!?

I was in my late teens living on the west side of Detroit during the explosion of the days of rage across America in the mid to late 60's. I was able to experience the many great groups of the times in concert via the Grande Ballroom, Eastown Theatre, Tar Tar Field, Rouge Park, Bell Island, and many other venues. One place was out in the area of Telegraph Road And Warren Avenue; a movie theatre that would have live bands on stage after midnight on the weekends. On one of those occasions that I attended the late night rock feast, I saw a band that went under the alleged name, "Saint Francis Duval"; a Jethro Tull cover band. What I have always wondered is did I see the cover band Saint Francis Duval, or was it actually Jethro Tull that was going under an assumed name to hide their identities while being a lesser venue? I mean that I swear that the band I was seeing was so exact in every way to the music I heard so many times, that it had me wondering ever since. What the looked like I don't recall or did I know either what Tull looked like, nor at the time would I have sought out proof either way, no, I was way to busy having the time of my life. Many groups have done this in the past, here in the midwest, the Rolling Stones have shown up in Chicago blues clubs under made up names. Would appreciate any input by those who were there during that period of time. Oh! How many of you remember WABX & CJOM which was the only true radical FM stations of those times, especially CJOM, that would air anything that was on the record, was played over the airways, including "Kick Out The Jams Motherf - - kers"! [Canada's free speech was way different than ours] What a great time those days were, and I find myself absolutely lost for words that would do all that happened justice when trying to explain to the youth of today. Power to the people! And to all my White Panther brothers & sisters, Happy Holidays!
