I have never in my life dated or been in a relationship. Im 100% inexperienced, and sometimes Im proud of that, but then there are other times I worry its going to cause a problem when i start dating. i have no clue why i havent started dating yet. Im a nice looking person. Im sweet. but maybe its because im quiet and dont have that many friends, or much of a social life either. I know that after college, dating will only become 100 times more difficult. that is something that has really been worrying me. anyways, my question is, will my lack of experience be a turn off, as I get older and out into the real world? how hard will dating be? any other tips or advice would be appreciated as well. Open Question: Pregnant and I think boyfriend has moved on?My boyfriend broke up with me a few weeks ago and I'm pregnant with his child. He has text me that he wants to see how I'm doing once in a while and be friends. He doesn't seem interested in actually talking though or working things out. He wanted an abortion and I didn't. It caused so much tension in the relationship, plus we had not been dating that long (about 6mos when he left). We did get along well but I know that he's not thrilled about becoming a dad and I'm excited beyond belief. I can feel the baby moving around inside me and I'm excited. I know that I'm attractive and will have no problem meeting someone new later on. I just feel compelled to try my hardest to make things work. I don't want my child to be fatherless. I want things to be at least friendly. He hasn't told me what his plans are, and he doesn't call. I've text him with updates about the baby and he doesn't respond. What do I do? It's hard getting over a man when your pregnant with his child. It hurts and I need to be objective. What do I do when he is ready to talk or should I even bother? I thought he was a nice guy when we dated. I don't hate him for wanting out of something he wasn't ready for, but I've also lost respect for him as a potential father and as a man. A guys perspective would be great on this. He does feel trapped. He sent that to me in a text also. Open Question: Boy likes me but I don't- work problem? There is a nice guy who likes me at work. He asked me if I wanted to go eat with him at a restaurant and I declined in a nice manner. A month later he says he likes me, feeling sorry for him I hugged him-maybe wrong move- and said I liked him as a friend. He was mad yesterday and admitted to me that he was sad because he couldn't be with me. I said I don't have time for him because of college, work, and home and that he'll find someone better than me who can hang with him. He replies that time is not an issue and I don't know what is good for him-meaning I can't tell him to find someone else and that waiting for me is NOT wrong, according to him-and he is willing to wait. My mom says I should just plainly tell him I'm not interested in dating at all, which is entirely true, and there is no point in dating if I'm moving this summer, but I think he'll probably still insist on going out. He says he is not the type to show his feelings so when he admitted he likes me I noticed fidgeting-it must have been hard for him..I hugged him as reassurance that I don't hate him but I don't know if I'm leading him in the wrong direction with these hugs. My co-workers say I'm flirting with him but I really feel no attraction whatsoever. so what can I do to actually end his crush on me and not have everyone think I'm flirting with him. (I know I should stop with the hugging). Thanks. Open Question: I want to move out of my mother in-laws home, these details below...do you think I am wrong?I am so frustrated with my fiancé and he can't understand why. September of 2008 my fiancé and I moved out of our apartment and in to his mother's home. Our lease was up and instead of looking for apartments we moved in with his mother. Although I didn't want to I agreed since he mentioned that he wouldn't be moving in to an apartment with me. He told me that he wanted to move back there for six months or so to save and pay off some of his debt. His debt was more than I had an idea about so we moved in to his mother's town home with two children in tow (our new son just 3 months old). Well, it's been more than 6 months and while he's paid off according to him, a good portion of the debt he isn't ready to move and nothing seems to motivate him. All who reside there are his 21 year old brother, his brother's best friend (was there for a year as well and is now in the navy but not living there), one dog and two cats. His mother and the children are staying there. So while his mom is very sweet for the most part she going through menopause and other issues with depression, when she comes home she complains about things in the house, she always relies on my fiancé to do a lot of things around the house, I help clean as well, cook and his brother does nothing. In fact his brother brings company over frequently to his mother's dislike. What has happened is this whole situation puts stress on me. I am angry the children don't have their own space; they pretty much break things in the house (her things) and are disciplined often by their father. He and I argue constantly and while we have issues she takes issue with the arguing and my "long face" when she sees it. Well, she's been having her mood swings so often that I feel we disturb the natural order of things; my fiancé's brother, his best friend and she were the only ones in the house. His mother get's very opinionated and holds us responsible for a lot of the juvenile mess his brother leaves as he doesn't contribute. She complains of the bills even though we contribute and im SICK of it. My fiancé has an outrageous temper and being there amplifies things as his mother's there to witness it all and have an opinion. I feel if we weren't there we would have fewer problems. We both earn a combined income of 100k and we don't save but partly because we're not forced to under his mother's roof and although I have expressed on many occasions we need to move he just pushes back the projected moving date, it's as if he is content with being there like he's the king nothing that transpires or happens seems to be enough to make him leave for the betterment of me and our family. I can't give him an ultimatum because he shuts down and is a hard @$$ and it's not positive. @ memaw tried that and I actually moved out before and everything and he stayed at his mother's and still refused to move.
