Open Question: I GOT DENIED A JOB BECAUSE AN INACCURATE CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK?This is totally messed up. I accepted a new position with a company. I resigned from my old position WITHOUT notice because the new company wanted me to start IMMEDIATELY! I said Ok. I was suppose to start tomorrow. The district manager called me up and told me that they couldn't pursue employment because I allegedly have a criminal record. The problem? I don't. I have a clean record. The District Manager said she would notify HR and have somebody call me back. Nobody called me back and nobody will answer my phone calls or emails. I send my emails with a Delivery Confirmation through Outlook and also with a Read Confirmation. The emails I sent the district manager all came back with NOT READ: which means they were deleted without reading it. I am interested to see what report they used for me. There are about 10 different David S.'s in my area could that show up a different David S.? I also paid for my own criminal background check from the PA State Police's website. It says using my social security number and date of birth that I have an absolutely clean record. I saved the certification letter as a PDF and emailed it to the District Manager and still no response. What can I do about this? I don't know what report they used and the worst part is now I am out of a job all together because of a false background check. Do I have any recourse? Open Question: Should I write him or not?Okay I got this guy who I have been dating for 4 months. I am 29 he is 28. He has two kids that don't live with him I have none I have a master's degree he has no degree I am in a sorority he is not in any fraternity. Besides all that I like him. We have broken up like twice but we got back together. I go to church but he seems as if he is interested in going. Anyway, he left and went to Atlanta he does not have a car I have one. He went to Atlanta to see his folks, he did not take his phone. Everytime I call him he answers.He claims that he has his brother phone. Well, he has not called me since he has been in Atlanta I always has to call him. So this has been going on for like a week. I called him yesterday and told him when he comes back don't worry about me because we are done. I told him because he does not call me enough and if he loves me like he says then he would he said he could not respond because he I was telling the truth so I still feel like he has been lieing and didn't wanna tell me that he was ready to move on everytime I talk to him he acts like its all good but I have a problem with calling him weather he has a phone or not he should make way to call me at least once. I wrote this to ask if I should write him a letter in his email and really let em' know that he did me wrong so he can feel the hurt that I feel I am hurting o and he told me he was going to call me back but he did not. Should I email him we have had great times together I didn't want it to end but I don'5t like how he is treating me and I can't sit back and just take it knowing it ain't right. Open Question: Can I still get a security clearance?I received a DUI in September of this year. I was 18 at the time and just recently turned 19. Other than that I have two speeding tickets. All of these charges are still pending court dates. Other than these I have nothing else on my record. I recently was offered a position that requires me to get a security clearance. Am I still eligible or will my history be a problem? Open Question: Would you date a guy that is 5'8?GIRLS ONLY PLEASE! Im stuck at 5'8, my question is..is that a turn off for most girls? I never really had a problem with my height assuming i would get at least a couple inches taller but NO at 22 im stuck at 5'8. Im better than average looking and have a good physique. But most girls tell me im too short EVEN THE SHORT ONES!!!! WTF is wrong with the world. LOL another thing i also noticed is that i have to work harder at things than my taller peers, and for the most part people dont take me seriously but im not some immature kid. WTF!!!!!!!!!! Open Question: i need dating tips!!!?okay, so ive only had one boyfriend and i think im ready for another. Thers a lot of guys who talk to me, tell me im "sexy" and ask me to hangout out.. they are hott guys too :] idk what my problem is. im like afraid to talk to them.. im really shy when it comes to GUYS. i think i try to hard to be the PERFECT GIRL... i put up a wall when ever im around them..how can i just be myself?? what can i do to keep a conversation goin? i over analyze everything even if were are just talking..GOSHH im a wreck :\ some one out there if you've Beenn where im att. leave me help :)) More Recent Articles
