Open Question: I had an average start with her, how can I proceed now (GIRLS please!)?So there's this girl from school I liked since last year. She is 16, I'm 17. I was a really shy person last year, so shy that I actually trembled from nervousness even when I saw her (she's kinda hot although still natural looking). This year, I overcame my shyness not completely, but to a great point and have made a great progress in being relaxed and not caring about what people think of me, something that resulted to me discovering a fairly funny and humorous guy I was hiding within. Now, to the point. As I said, still being kinda shy and not having any connection to her, I accidentally found her profile in Facebook and decided to send a request. She accepted but I was too stressed to send something since I didn't know her. The same day, I went out with my pal and we discussed about it, and he helped me build up some courage. So I get back home, see her in the chat, and send that first 'hi'. She responds the same way, so I decide to break the ice by bringing up school. We had a 20 minute chat and I told her I'd greet her in school the next day. The 'big' day comes, and I was really nervous, but still convinced I'd just do it. I didn't see her for a while and I was like "phew, got away with it today" until I stumble upon her in the next corner. She didn't know me (no pic in facebook) so I grabbed the opportunity and used my hands to get her attention saying "Hey! Uhm we were talking on facebook last night...What's up?". We shook hands and got acquainted again, and she kinda seemed to like what she was facing ;) And 2 days later I screwed it...While she was on FB again, and after a brief general chat, I asked her if she wanted to meet up at one of the breaks so we can get to know each other. And she responds "We will see..." I didn't take it personally or anything, I know it was my mistake and it is actually rational for the girl to be drawn back through a chat, as she doesn't know me, plus the fact that chat just isn't good when it comes to relationships! So, I want to pursue my chances now that a while has passed. I know I botched up the headstart, but I think I can fix it. Problem is, how?! How can I approach her and -not ask her on a date, I know when the time comes- get to know her? I still say hi to her but she doesn't seem that enthusiastic now as I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. What can I do to get her attention, how can I act around her (Now I don't mean not being myself, I mean if I should add something in my gaze, say something different and more enticing than a simple 'hi', etc.) so I can get a chance with her again? I can't really give her a gift while she is dating another guy unless i want to cause problems and we have known each other for a long time and I don't think she likes me. How can I get her to like me? Any advice? Open Question: Counter strike runs in slow motion.. need help alot..?first my pc specs: 22" lcd intel c2d E8400 3ghz ATI 4850 4GB RAM mobo is ASUS P5Q DELUXE OS windows 7 64bit i have recently updated my bios to the latest.. and when i play counter strike 1.6 or condition zero the gameplay is like slow motion.. i move slow.. run slow.. shoot slow.. switch guns slow.. the commands and fps are normal.. but its slow.. and guess what modern warfare 2 runs like butter in max but im having this problem with only CS.. and my drivers are up to date.. everything like i mean drivers are up to date.. the problem occurred only after i updated my bios.. bios update was successful though.. i need some serious help here guys.. i'd be so thankful if someone would help me out with this.. She came to me first asking for help with her work and we became friends. I thought she was very pretty and I had no idea she was 14 since most of the kids in this class are 17 and maybe a few are 16. She told me that she wants to go out with me, but I don't know if I should. I don't really have a problem with her. She is very cute, smart and mature for her age. It is just the age that bothers me for some reason. I would not have a problem dating her if it wasn't for her age. Also is it illegal for my to be dating a 14 year old. I live in Hawaii, but I am unsure about the dating laws here. I think I'll go on a few dates with her before deciding what we should do. When I turn 18 will it be illegal for us to see each other?
