He has been in love with me since midway grade 9, but has liked me since grade eight. He is OVERLY nice. I don't like him, and he knows this. I make it VERY clear to him. I mean, he knows I love him as a best friend, but that's it. But honestly, he's way too nice to me, and he always has been.. & I have this gut feeling that he doesn't actually love and care about me, & that he's just trying to make me feel close to him and one day will tell me he doesn't love me. Is this normal, or do I have trust problems? <- first question. & Now I'm starting to wonder if he's all there, y'know. He is WAY too nice, and REALLY cheesy, and tells me all the time that all he wants to do is make me happy. He will do ANYTHING I ask him to do - literally. He bought me an ipod touch, and a necklace. My friends always ask me why I don't date him, but I just don't feel a connection, and they think i'm crazy. Am i ? Is it weird? I mean he's SO nice to me but I just dont like him.. I actually ask myself why I don't like him. UGH. And I know i didn't really point out much questions here, everything is pretty much vague. But can you give your opinion on this whole situation? Open Question: My boyfriend says he doesn't care if I were to sleep with other guys....?I have been dating my current boyfriend for 7 months now. At the beginning of the relationship we had a long conversation on jealousy, and he expressed to me that he's never felt that emotion towards any of his previous girlfriends because he feels that it leads to irrational behaviour and can consequently harm the relationship. I completely agreed with him on that part but he continued to say that he wouldn't even care if his exes slept with other people as long as it made them happy. When he first told me this I thought that it must have just been a way of protecting himself from his previously slutty girlfriends and unhealthy relationships by convincing himself "he didn't care". I thought that as time went by and our realtionship grew stronger, that he might feel differently towards me and maybe show some emotion when it came to feelings of jelousy. But he's repeatedly expressed to me that he doesn't care if i were to see other guys or even if I were to have sexual relations with them because love has nothing to do with lust. I told him that his way of thinking concerend me because I'd certainly have a problem if he were to cheat on me and he assured me that he only wants my happiness and that he'd never do anything to hurt me. I just don't know what to think...I don't find it normal for a person not to care at all about their partner's relations with the opposite sex. I'm not saying for him to be a jealous nutjob but I just feel like his not caring about this kind of stuff is another way of saying that what's between us is not serious. I see it as human nature to be just a bit jealous because of the natural fear of losing someone you really care about...I don't know, is it just me?? What do you think? Open Question: HELP! What these two 80's or early 90's movies called?1. It's about a guy that is set up with a girl but she's really nerdy(short black hair, glasses, etc..etc..) during the date she gets sick & throws up out the window, but it runs down the door & he freaks because it might mess up the paint (it's a blue or black muscle car) . It turns out this chick knows a lot about cars, so some how they both get wet or dirty because they end up at a laundry mat to wash their clothes. By the end of the night he likes her & they kiss. So as he drops her off at her house she goes in & as he's walking back to his car, he throws his keys up in the air but misses them & they come crashing down on the car, then you just here him call her & tell her that he has a problem & she says" No problem", then it ends. 2. This is a kid movie by f.h.e, its an adult woman playing a little girl named Cathy, she is home alone & is hungry so she makes toast, but the toaster starts to smoke so she tries to get the bread out but burns herself, then she gets a fork & sticks it in the toaster to get the bread but she get a electrocuted, she calls 911. While she waits she remembers her mother says to put butter on burns but she can read the bottle because of the smoke, so she get ketchup on her face while trying to smell different bottles. They get to her & there's a fireman, a doctor & i think an ambulance guy, anyway they scold her for answering the door & not saying who it is, they teach her how to treat burns, stop drop & roll, & answer the door. So when they're leaving they test her by knocking on the door & saying that they need help, but she say she can't help them. So they leave convinced she's ok, then she here's another knock at the door & someone at the door says they're having car trouble, but she tells them she can't help them. Then it shows the people at the door but they're really monsters. The end. The first one is not "Blind Date" or "She's All that", sorry they're a little long but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks!!! Open Question: how can I let my parents visit my boyfriend in Sao Paulo, Brazil?My problem is this: I used to date this guy for a while, but I´ve never put much faith in our relationship because I was gonna live in Milan for professional reasons, and he was going to Sao Paulo. But after breaking up, we realised that what we had was very important for both, and we can´t forget eachother. So I decided to go and visit him this Christmas holidays, with my own money, that I saved. But my problem is this; I`m living in Milan for studying, and I depend on my parents, they are paying me everything, And they don´t let me go, because they think S.P is veeeery dangerous! their problem is not the money at all, they are afraid that something bad happens to me! Can someone skilled in this area please help me?I have a female friend, who has a degree in the English Arts. She recently disclosed to me that she is experiencing some serious memory loss issues. She says that sometimes during the course of her day, she would experience several instances where her mind blanks out and she can't remember what she was doing. Here are some examples that she described to me: -Going to a location and forgetting why she went there in the first place -Loss of words/struggle to properly express herself during conversation..(she used to be very good with this..she has an english degree) -Forgetting completely, time of day, date and even what today is! -Not following conversations properly, getting jokes long after they've past -Forgetting what she is talking about completely..whilst she is in the middle of conversation! -Making foolish mistakes in her workplace..and discovering them herself after -Forgetting errands given to her by her boss, completely! Even while she is in the process of doing it! All this sounds really crazy! But she would not lie to me..and she is very scared. She says she have tried taking brain supplements, but they don't work. Also, she has no stress in her life, she is very happy now compared to her past years where honestly, she has suffered some serious tragedies in her life..severe depression, lost of will to live etc. She has greatly moved on from these ills and Ive seen her happy and smiling. We just don't know why these memory losses keep occurring! She isn't mentally taxed in her job, or stressed anymore, she is relaxed and happy! This is obviously a really serious problem..I'm heavily considering taking her to a psychiatrist soon! But in the mean time..does anyone of you know what could be the cause of this mental problem of hers? Any suggestions? Any brain exercises I can try to help her?
