Open Question: More evidence that government officials are inflating the number of deaths and cases of swine flu?

Report from a forum sponsored by the CDC in Detroit, Michigan: "...doctors across the country have, with the urging of the CDC, stopped diagnosing different strains of influenza and have begun categorizing every similar case as H1N1. These alleged practices would inflate the number of deaths and illnesses attributed to the H1N1 virus. Dr. Hebert confirms that doctors now largely rely on a rapid test for influenza A because the treatment for both is the same supportive care, anti-viral medicines and increased fluids. Both the H3N2 strain of influenza commonly known as the seasonal flu and the H1N1 strain now known as swine flu fall under the category of influenza A." -- that means no real differentiation is being made between seasonal flu cases and specific H1N1 swine flu cases, and yet they are all being counted as swine flu cases. The swine flu estimates are simply wrong because they are actually the count for combined strains. "Clear data is very difficult to obtain regarding the total number of illnesses and deaths from swine flu, or the influenza virus in general. The Michigan Department of Community Health keeps a database which reflects an aggregate number of influenza-like illness and individual case reports of influenza. In Michigan, 10,059 people fell into that category for the week November 22-28. In Detroit, 124 cases were reported. Those numbers are down drastically from the 31,103 residents state-wide who reported flu-like symptoms the week before. But THE ACCUMULATED DATA DOESN'T REVEAL HOW MANY CONFIRMED CASES OF H1N1 EXIST..." source: http://www.michigancitizen.com/default.asp?sourceid=&smenu=1&twindow=&mad=&sdetail=8094&wpage=1&skeyword=&sidate=&ccat=&ccatm=&restate=&restatus=&reoption=&retype=&repmin=&repmax=&rebed=&rebath=&subname=&pform=&sc=1070&hn=michigancitizen&he=.com

Open Question: How many games will The Detroit Tigers lose in 2010?

Trading Curtis Granderson & Edwin Jackson is not one of the smartest they have ever done. Needless to say I am not very happy with this. The Tigers only saving grace is Justin Verlander & Brandon Inge--and I expect them to go when it comes time to be free agents. Mike Ilitch needs to sell The Tigers to someone who actually cares!!!

Open Question: I Turned 18 on Dec. 8th and got put out and been homeless for a week. What shall I do?

I turned 18 years old on December 8 and got put of my mom's house. I've been homeless for a week. I'm still in school but I haven't been going because there is nothing thy could do to help me. I've been trying to go back to Detroit but the travel price's are exspensive. I have never even held that much money in my hand, let alone I pay fo a travel ticket. People have been trying to help me but they eally can't do nothing. They say what they say and do what they do because they don't want to see me just be out here. I just caught a citation yesterday for trying to snatch some clothes. Times is really tough, especially for a homeless black man. And the bad part about this situation is that all of my family stays in Detroit. So I'm really in a bad situation. What shall I do to get some help?
