Open Question: Please can someone explain my test results on heart further? After various heart tests, I have been sent a letter with results. I don't know what it all means and what bits are good and bad. I have been told by my cardiologist that I will require intervention and I would also like to know what my short and long term outlook is. The good news is that he said my heart it not damaged by it to date and the only visible problem is that the right side of my heart is slightly larger than the left but it's only very slight. Here are the results from the letter: Pulse 72. Sinus rhythm blood pressure 116/76. Six split second sound. ECG shows sinus rhythm, incomplete right bundle branch block QRs 118ms, left axis deviation. 24 hour ECG shows sinus rhythm with infrequent isolated ventricular ectopics. Transthoracic echo shows normal LV size and good systolic function. Dilated RV (37mm parasternal long axis view). Tricuspid and mitral valve annulus are at the same level, there is a primum atrial septal defect with left to right shunt. The mitral valve is cleft/trileaflet, mild to moderate MR. Peak recorded pulmonary artery systolic pressure 26mm/hg. The echo features are consistent with a partial ASD. I am a 38 year old female by the way. I don't take any medication and have never been in hospital. I am generally fit and healthy and rarely get ill. I don't smoke and drink alcohol socially. I was totally unaware of my heart issues and it has never affected my life as I was always very sporty and as a child, I was fit and healthy too. I do pilates and I jog. They have only found this problem because I complained of dizzy spells and got a full check up done including an MRI of brain, inner ear and spine too. I'm waiting for those results but my cardiologist has said that he doesn't think that I've had a mini stroke but he can rule that out when he sees the MRI of brain and he doesn't think the dizziness is related to my heart but he's glad the problem has been discovered before it has done any damage. He said that this is not an emergency and that together we can choose a date for the op. He made out that the op could be left for even another year or two. What is my outlook after the op? I'm worried about it all and really concerned about the operation. Also, my partner and I were just about to start trying for a baby. It would be my first and I am 38 and don't want to wait longer. Can I get pregnant and leave the op till later? Or would that be dangerous? I would appreciate professional advice. Thank you in advance. Open Question: Windows Live Messenger Errors?Hello, I've been trying to sign onto Windows Live Messengers for the past few days and I keep getting either error 8e5e05f6, which means there's something wrong with my contacts folder or error 8007007e, which means I need to upgrade to the latest version of Windows Live Messenger. In order to solve error 8e5e05f6, I've been searching up ways and the most common solution is to delete the "Contacts" folder on my computer, check that my date and time are correct on my desktop as well as going onto My Computer and selecting the option to "show hidden files". None of these solutions has worked for me. I'm still unable to sign onto Windows Live messenger and I also occasionally get error 8007007e. I already have installed the latest version of Windows Live Messenger. In fact, I have already tried to uninstall, reinstall and repair it several times. Nothing is working! :( Has anyone have the same or similar problem now? Or has had it in the past? Is there another solution that I haven't tried yet or should I just wait a few days for the system to go back up again? HELP! Thanks. More Recent Articles |
