Open Question: Sims 3 world adventures problem?So I was playing my sim guy and sent him on a trip to China, while walking to the temple of heaven the game stops. It didn't crash to the desktop, I couldn't click or do anything, I had to exit using the windows button and shutting it down in task manager - which stated the sims 3 was not responding When I load his game it takes me back to the point where the game stopped leaving me in the same situation as before. I have one other game or "family" I play and It loads and works normally. I have no mods installed, my graphics card driver is up to date and has been for a while, my windows had updated some days before but it had been working perfectly since. It happened after an EA update for the sims 3 but I can't find any options to roll back or even re-install the update. any suggestions? Open Question: Would you consider breaking up with an individual that cheats at games?I know this is silly, but it is bugging me. My boyfriend and I haven't been together long, but we are compatible on some many different levels. I like him and I am comfortable, BUT... he cheats on games and he is a poor sport about them. Its just turning me off as far as his personality is concerned. I am getting to the point that I don't want to play any games with him, but he likes to play. Example of what he does... dominoes... when he is loosing, he blames it on the application... there has to be a glitch, he had a tile to move but it wouldn't let him put it down and he had to pull from the boneyard instead. And I only won because of that single problem. Bejeweled Blitz... okay, this is on facebook for all our family and friends to see... so keep this in mind. We competitively score. I beat his score and dared him to beat me... with the full understanding that he probably could. I didn't bash him or anything, just dared him. The very next day his score is not only high, but impossibly high, and he basically said I needed to bow down and worship him. When I mean impossible... really impossible... smell a rat because he is a computer geek and knows how to change applications and software to do what he wants. When I ask him about it, he just smiles at me and told me that I will never catch him. Of course not.... if he is cheating! And this is published on our web pages for all family and friends to see. I've already gotten emails from friends asking me how he scored so high. Really want to tell him that I believe he cheated, but I don't want them to think ill of the guy I'm dating if that isn't true. Of course, he won't tell me or anyone else for that matter how he did it. It makes me wonder what type of character he has if he has this kinda of spirit with games. Open Question: My old Landlord is trying to scam me!!!?Last year I signed a one year lease to a one bedroom apartment in Washington, DC. The first 6 months I was writing a check to pay my rent but the last 6 months I was sending them a money order. Every month before the rent was due I would get a receipt from the previous month showing the amount was paid, if there was a balance, the amount thats due and the number of the western union money order that was on the original money order. I always paid the full amount and never paid my rent late. when my lease was up I wrote a letter to the property manager telling them that I was turning over my keys and that that I was vacating the property because my lease was up and gave a date. I later call the rental office to try to get my security deposit back but being that it was within a week of me leaving they said that they haven't received my keys back just yet. so I had to wait for them to get it in order for them to give me my money back. (the rental office is not on the property btw but the property manager lives in one of the building so when you need anything done you just go to her and put a request in her locked drop box) The following week I moved into my new apartment and forwarded my mail from the 1st apartment to my grandmother's house. I later got an eviction notice stating that I owed 6months past rent!!!! which just so happened to start when I started paying them with my money orders. I got all my receipts together where you can clearly see that they were cashed since I had a $0 balance on the receipts and went to court. You have an option to talk the opposing lawyer before your case starts to maybe settle out of court. So I talked to their lawyer and they agreed that bases on the information that I had they really didn't have a case. They didn't serve me my papers correctly and she thought that it may have been and internal problem within the rental office stealing my money and trying to cover it up. She said that in so many words. In the end my case was dismissed and I thought my worries were over. I let the whole security deposit thing go because I really didn't want to be bothered with this company ever again. However, 7 months later they called me at work telling about that they have a case against me and are trying to collect the 6 - 8 months back rent and fees from me!!! They don't have my address so they can't serve me any papers but they know where I work (however, they can't get access to me because of where I work) . Can they try to collect this money again even though it was dismissed before or will I just have to keep going to court over and over again about this??? After the talk with their lawyer we went to trial that same day and the case was dismissed in court by a judged. Open Question: should i date him or not . . .?i am in year/grade 9 and he is in 10. i arnt popular at all but i know him, and he knows me, i have a huge crush on him, and all his friends say he fancys me. i am fed up of sitting back and letting opportunities go by me. would it be a problem with the people around me who are popular, would i get aload of trouble? should i stay out of all the "popular crowd"? what do you think i should do? he is single and so am i, i have a feeling he is going to ask me out one of these days . . . Open Question: Ah, I need some advice about my situation?So I've been talking to this guy for a few weeks, met only briefly, we been texting and sometimes AOL IM'ing and anyway I told him I have a 3 year old daughter and that me & my ex-husband (been divorced for 11 months) have a little drama, because he's always cursing me out or not seeing his daughter, or just being real rude, or not responding to papers/child support.. well all last week and before he was fine with it, he kept taking my side and was like "im not worried, it happens.." ... so last night I told about my ex husband accusing me of "stalking" him and how my ex just makes this drama up... well suddenly, he goes "that sounds like a mess..." and i go, "yeah he just does that.." and he goes "that ain't good..." so i go "Are you mad?" and he goes.. "nah, just sounds a lil messy. we'll see what happens..".. so then Im like WTF? and he goes.. "Maybe you need to clear all that up before dating someone..could be costly to a relationship and bad for your daughter, goin to bed, gnite..".. so I ask.. "Are we still going out saturday?".. and he goes, "of course, we already planned it.." So WTF!? Just 2 weeks ago he was fine w/ it and now all of a sudden he seems to have a problem with it? Why? I told him my ex makes up this stuff.. Open Question: When marriage will take place - what is guru palan.?My daughter's date of birth is 10.7.1985 at 00.35 Hrs in Chennai. For the past two years, I am trying for the level best for her partner. So far I have checked more than 80 horoscopes. Out of which more 25 was matching, but nothing concluded so far. I dont know the reason for this. Is anybody who know astrology can predict her problems and let me know when she will get married. Open Question: Am i doing the right thing?Ive been dating a girl and its been 3 months now. i really really like her a lot. we started off as friends and ended up falling in love with each other. BUT the problem is im 2 years older than her.. her auntie found out and startted going crazy on us. for a month now shes been trying to pull us apart. i really like her & my like is turning into love more and more. i wanna know should i just go with my heart and stay with her OR take a break so i wont go to jail her age 15 .. turning 16 in jan my age 17 turning 18 in july. Open Question: Should i do what my boyfriend did to me a couple nights ago?my boyfriend and i have been dating for a year and we have been really good up till now he has cheated on me and also he has a drinking problem that we are trying to hard to fix. he is in therapy with like AA meetings and stuff like that but i dont think he even wants to stop drinking! So one i was waiting for him at his house a couple nights ago and he never showed up so i got mad and left. so what i'm wondering is should i just ignore him for a while to make him want me even more and to show him what it's like for him to not be dating me? i don't know what to do because i don't feel like we are the same as we used to be and it's really bugging me i need help and opnions! fast because i'm going to go out tonight and i want to do what he did to be a couple nights ago were i was waiting for him and texting him and he never replied one time! because he said he didn't want to "deal" with me! even though when i'm with my friends he is always like were are you what are you doing who are you with? blah blah blah and even though i dont want to reply i do! so what should i do tonight guys?! HELP Open Question: Why does my ex contact me?I've been on this roller coaster since we broke up last August. The relationship had it's ups and downs, but even after the break up, we still continued to act like a couple. It all can to a head this past halloween. I became crazy obsessive with her. Got jealous, constantly asked her if she was dating anyone else, etc. It was none of my business, and she said I became too obsessive, and that she didn't want to ever talk to me again. I realized I had some problems of my own to deal with, so I began seeking therapy. I learned a lot about my low self esteem problem. After 19 days of no contact, my ex started texting me like crazy, and even called me that she wanted to see me. I was weary because I had finally started healing, but met her anyway. She had some problems she was going through, and said realized I was a great guy. Part of the reason she wanted to see me is because she missed and enjoyed our intimacy, so we have sex. And a lot of it. This was a month ago, and slowly, things are going back to the roller coaster ride. I will admit, I don't do any of the things that made her break up with me (passive aggressive, obsessive, constantly asked her where she was., etc.) and still give her space. In fact, she initiates 90% of the conversation, and when we do hang out, I'm constantly trying to be the man that she wants me to be. I try to be romantic, etc. Just doesn't seem good enough. She tells me she has feelings for me, etc. But, for example, our last form of communication was her calling me actin all weird. I ask her if she's back in the mode where she doesn't want to talk to me, she replies "kinda" then gives this whole speech about how we've been broken up for 4 months, but still continueing like we're doing. I respond, we'', you know what I want. She wanted me to repeat it, so i told her I want her back, saw a future with her, etc. She said sometimes she doesn't see the same thing. So I let her go. Half hour later, she asks if I have plans, asks if I want to do dinner, then asks if we can hang out and watch a movie at my house. When her movie ends, she says she's tired. I get up to take her home, but then she's already halfway to my room, strips down to her underwear and sleeps in my bed, asking me to hurry up. Nothing too intimate happend. The next day, I try to suprprise her with breakfast in bed, she doesn't seem appreciative. Then she gets all quiet, won't communicate with me, and wants to be taken home. And I haven't heard from her in a few days. I did ask her if she was only hanging out with me until she found something better. She said no, she's not on the market to find someone new. Open Question: the bigest relationship problem i have ever had idk what to do . is she bipolar maybe idk. i give up?i am 16 and a sophmore at this school and i am dating this extreamly hot skater girl who i love and have been dating for a month and a half and we started drifting apart and now her cousin called me told me to leave the other girl alone that my gf does not like me and is dumping me and is dating some other guy so i said i would back off and i did and i called the other girl and she said she loves me and wants to fix things but now i am dating her and the cause her cousin is amazing. and so is she . now the one that i have been dating for a month and a half wants me to leave her alone but i love her and cant i care about her ther is this guy who says they are dating and she denys it but he and a couple other people say thjey are dating and i kinda beleave they are i mean she is a roloer coster we get alon one day then dont the next . she dated my frien then my other friend the n me and my friend then just me and now i think me and a driffrent friend idk what to do i am falling for her cousin but i stil care about her what do i do ?
