Open Question: Social Anxiety interfering with dating, Help please!!?I am a 27 year old man who is Bipolar II, I have a major problem with social anxiety. I haven't been in a lot of relationships due to this problem. It became worse after a 4 year relationship ended 7 years ago. I now can not bring myself to approach a woman, when one approaches me, I shy up, talk for a few minutes, and then find a way out. I don't know where to go to meet women, and how to find one that I can talk to. I am a hopeless romantic, a good guy, genuine, hard working man. I know how to treat a woman with respect, not a one night stander. I am completely loyal, and also funny, when I'm out of the initial interaction. Once I get past the first meeting of a woman, I can open up and be all of those things, that's who I am. But the older I get, the more time that passes by, the worse my anxiety gets. I am trying to work through this in therapy, I am medicated for my bipolar, and anxiety. But I'm thinking that maybe I can get some different approaches here. So any advice on how to approach women, and where a guy can go to meet good conservative women? Open Question: Weird/awkward situation...what can I do?So I am dating this guy right now, we are both 21 and trying to finish college, and save up money to move out…but as of now, we are both living with our parents. It's getting kind of frustrating because we never really have the privacy to be intimate with each other..like hooking up in a car at this age just seems a little childish lol. anyone else ever have this problem, what you think that we can do? and please, no rude answers…yes, I live with my parents. but I am working a lot so I can move out soon. thanks in advance for your advice.
