"Because You're My Only One" A deafening sound crashed through Candice Jones' room window. Candice was only fifteen when she moved to her three-bedroom house in Detroit, Michigan. Candice had only few friends because no one really like her, especially her personality. She was a type of girl that is really selfish, inconsiderate, and that will do everything to get what she desires. Even if it kills her. Candice is eighteen now and a senior at Shelly High school. She went through some pretty good times in her high school years but she also had horrible experiences like her appalling break up with Austin Myers. She was never the same after their break up. She got in a fight with almost everyone in her high school, her grades dropped, and she does horrible things to herself as well. In other words, she became a jerk. She dreams of living with Austin in a big glass mansion and having as many kids as possible. But it will never happen as long as Austin is not with her. She weeps all night because her dreams will never happen but she isn't loosing hope. She keeps telling herself Austin will be back. One Saturday morning, Candice saw Austin walking pass her house. Candice ran enthusiastically to catch up to him. "Austin! Hey Austin," said Candice "Hey! Wait up!" "Oh, hey Candice." replied Austin. "Austin. Do you want to go to the movies with Melanie, me, and other people today?" "Oh, sorry I can't." "Oh, How about tomorrow?" "I'm really sorry Candice, I love to but I can't. I'm busy. Sorry." "Oh, okay. I get it." said Candice sadly. "I need to go, bye." "Bye." Candice ran to her room, crying because Austin has rejected her once again. "Why Austin? Why? Aren't I pretty enough for you Austin!?" screamed Candice. " I've done everything for you." Candice grabbed her pocket knife from her drawer and started poking through her pale skin. As her skin opened up, her blood profusely bled. Her tears put her to sleep without any source of pain. Candice woke up in the middle of the night. Her mom and dad sleeping when she woke up. She went straight to the bathroom to go do her business. She remembered what happened with her and Austin and grabbed her pocket knife. "Should I end it not?" said Alicia to herself silently. "I'm tired of being rejected, I'm tired of my messed up life." She pointed the pocket knife over her chest but hesitated to do it. "No, not yet." said Candice quietly. "Not now, maybe some other day but not today." She went to her room and puts the pocket knife in her drawer and she went back to sleep. The next morning, Candice decided to go to the park and look if Austin is there. When she got there, she saw Austin with her former best friend, Sabrina Wolff. "Sabrina! How dare you!?" said Candice running towards them. "It's simple Candice, Austin pick me over you!" said Sabrina. "Just like what you did! You tramp!" "It wasn't my fault, Sabrina." 'You knew I liked him. How come you dated him?! I know, because you were desperate! No one likes you! That's why Austin picked me over you. Isn't that true?" "Yes, I'm really sorry Candice. I've moved on" replied Austin. "Austin? Why? I'm not pretty enough for you!? I'm not good enough for you? Is that it? I've done everything for you! Everything! I hope your happy now Austin!" screamed Candice. Candice ran to her house and headed straight to her room, crying. "Hun? What's wrong?" asked her mom. "Leave her alone, she needs time alone." said her dad. Candice remembered the pocket knife in her drawer. She went to grab it and started cutting herself all over her body. "Austin! I hope your happy!" said Candice crying. Her mom was worried so she checked up on her, As she opened Candice's room door, She saw Candice's bloody body lying on top of the bed. "Chris! Call the Hospital!" she screamed. "Why? What's wrong?" walking towards Candice's room and looking at her daughter's body. "Am I pretty now?" said Candice, "Am I good enough now? Am I?" "Where am I?" said Candice. "Hun? Your in the hospital. What were you thinking?" replied her mom. "I want Austin! Mom, tell Austin to come here. Please?" "Relax. Don't worry I will." Candice automatically drifted back to sleep and didn't realize why she was there. The only thing she realizes is that her need of Austin. "Candice? Candice? Hey Candice? Wake up." said Austin. "Austin is that you?" said Candice with a cracked voice. "Yes it's me" "Austin! Austin! Please break up with Sabrina! I want you to be with me! Be with me Austin! Please?" begged Candice. "Relax. Okay Candice, Okay. For you." said Austin hugging Candice. A week later after the incident. Candice came back to Shelly High school and almost everyone started talking to her. Except for Sabrina, who didn't pity on her. Candice and Sabrina ignores each other when they see each other in the hall ways but but one day Sabrina saw Candice by the lockers and approaches her. "Oh Guess who's back?" said Sabrina. "The little faker. What lies did you tell them this time?" "What lies are you talking about?" replied Candice, hiding the fact that she did lie about the incident. "Oh stop faking it, you told everyone that you fell off your window but in fact your injuries were cause by you!" "So? What if I lied? Why do you care? I know because Austin is not with you anymore that's why." "What are you talking about? Austin is still with me. Austin told me to pretend that we broke up so you won't do what you did to yourself again. Don't you see it? He doesn't give a thing about you anymore!" "Stop! Stop! Stop lying!" said Candice crying. "I'm not lying ask him yourself!" Candice ran toward Austin who across from her locker. "Hey Candice, What's up?" said Austin. "You tell me what's up. Why did you lie about the whole thing?" screamed Candice, "Why? Please? Austin. Do it?" "I'm so What's wrong with you! Aren't I pretty enough for you?! Aren't I?! Well, If I can't have you no one can!" hollered Candice grabbing the knife of her pocket stabs Austin's throat. "Austin! Why Candice!?" shrieked Sabrina after looking at her boy friend's dead body. "If I cant have him, no one can!" replied Candice pulling the knife off Austin's throat and stabs her own as well. Can u tell me what u think? Is It a Cliche? Tell me wat to improve Please with whatever u want on top. Ummm this is the shorter version. lol so yeah. Ill add more tho. lol. I have bad grammar. I cant write and exposition only like conclusion and the middle part. lol Cuz this was a short story for English class and like I wanted to improve it. *Not Final Product yet The ending is supposed to be like a surprise ending.
