Open Question: Who was the first player to have 40 goal seasons with 3 different NHL teams?

Last year, Marian Hossa scored 40 goals with Detroit, becoming the 7th person in NHL history to have 40 goal seasons with 3 different NHL teams. Who was the first (and name the teams)? Ah....you got #3. Verbeek was the 4th to do it, Shanahan was the 5th, and Mogilny was the 6th. The 3rd person to do it accomplished the feat BEFORE Shanahan and Mogilny had their FIRST 40 goal seasons Correct, it was Frank Mahovlich Bob, the database gives 7 Francis Mahovlich Pierre Larouche Joseph Mullen Patrick Verbeek Brendan Shanahan Aleksandr Mogilny Marian Hossa I actually had to do some extra checking because I was sure Selanne had scored 40 in San Jose, or that Gartner or Ciccarelli had scored 40 or more with several teams, or that Jagr had 40 with Washington etc. But all that checking was for nought A final hint..............I played against #1 in one of my exhibition games...........
