Open Question: Why do the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions always suck? how come they never make it to the Playoffs? Open Question: Why do the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions always suck? how come they never make it to the Playoffs?Without a doubt, the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions are the worst NFL franchises in modern times, definetley without a doubt the worst teams this decade, eventhough I am not a fan of either franchises, I feel very sorry for them. Both teams hold extremely long droughts of not winning a championship in a very long time, heck, the last time either of them won a Championship or even made it to a Championship game was in the Pre-Super Bowl era. The last time Detroit Lions won a Championship was in 1957, which is the second longest win drought after the Arizona Cardinals 1947 Championship victory, since the Cardinals made it to the Super Bowl last year, I don't consider them as cursed anymore, meanwhile the Cleveland Browns last won it in 1964. The last time the Browns were in the playoffs was 2002, and the last time the Lions were in it was 1999, the last time the Lions won a playoff game was 1991, while the Browns was 1994. Overall, these teams seem to be Cursed, why? If these 2 teams will ever improve, which one do you think will improve first and sooner? and how come they can't draft good, great players?
