Students in Detroit scored only 200 out of 500 possible points on national test scores. They literally could have done just as well if they guessed at all the answers. Obama cares more about wrecking the economy with global warming taxes than he cares about the future of black people?? You haven't seen devastation yet. It's coming. Open Question: For those of you who think the auto bail out was a good thing...?Would you support a bail out for the ailing film and television industry? For the union member actors who earn on average $9,000 a year? For the grips, gaffers, stylists and PAs who now go for up to two years between paying jobs? Why does the auto biz with its powerful union concerns get so much attention while members of SAG, AFTRA, DGA, WGA, IATSE, AMPTP and the ancillary unions are left to twist in the wind? Media too is suffering a shrinking marketplace and foreign competition due to globalization. Why is building a car as a UAW dues payer more sacrosanct than driving a camera truck as a Teamster? Doesn't "Hollywood" have the same kind of legacy importance to the nation's image as "Detroit"? Or is it the mistaken perception that everyone in the film and television business is rolling in money?
