Open Question: Would I be a good fit as Nathan Detroit?My high school is doing a production of Guys and Dolls for our winter musical. I'm really trying to snag the part of Nathan, but I'm not sure if I would be a good fit. My vocal range is from a Low Low D (octave below low D) to an F/G. I've done theatre and musicals for about 6 years now (I was Charlie Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and I was Chico Marx in A Day In Hollywood/A Night In The Ukraine). I'm the same build as Nathan Lane and Oliver Platt (who have both played N. Detroit on Broadway). I'm pretty quick on my feet, and I've done a bunch of difficult choreography before. Would I be a good Nathan Detroit? thank you two so much! Is there a specific song that you think I should do for auditions? Open Question: What is Hitchcock's deal with Mason?Seems like Hitch is going out of his way to destroy this goalie. Let's his show pony get trampled but the Detroit Stampede, then when it seems he's gotten his confidence back, Hitch plays him 3 straight vs the Rangers at MSG (instead of) giving him the Canadians in that B2B situation Now again after holding serve in another B2B with a W vs the Blues he runs him right back out there vs the Chicago World Beaters who just embarrassed San Jose on San Jose ice with some guy called Hossa playing. I mean did I miss something is Columbus battling Chicago for playoff position or St. Louis? And why not Get Mason right and fresh for the Toronto game? I know you can't protect Mason forever but let the guy get a good 10 games under his belt before running him out night-in night-out More Recent Articles
